A lot of people don't know the difference between a grinder vs sander. So, they call both of these tools "sanders". But, here's the difference: Sanders are only used to sand, while grinders with the right attachments can be used to sand, cut, polish, and much more. Grinders are more versatile and more powerful than sanders.
Re milwauukee: Oh, well that appears to be meant as a die grinder. I hope it would work better than the average rotary tool. I was under the impression it was a rotary tool. But compared to any typical corded die grinder that thing looks tiny. Tiny tool, tiny inertia. The motor mass on a typical electic die grinder will dwarf that Milwaukee.
